The Giles County Democratic Party will hold a caucus
on December 14 at the Giles County Courthouse in Pearisburg. The caucus is
to elect officers and committee members for the next 2 years and to conduct
party business. All Giles County Democrats are invited to
participate. Doors open at 10 and will close at 10:30 a.m. so get there
early.
We also will be collecting items for the Christmas food boxes that the Giles Mission
will be distributing to 75 families. Items needed for the
boxes:
cake and icing mixes
boxed potatoes (scalloped, au gratin, etc.)
macaroni & cheese boxes
canned pineapple
If
you don't have time to shop for these items, you can donate cash and items will be purchased on Monday and then delivered to the Mission.
