Giles Democratic Reorganization
On December 3, the Giles County Democratic Party held a reorganization meeting which is done every 2 years. Joan Kark (joank48@gmail.com) was elected chair and Helen Renquist was elected treasurer.

Pearisburg Festival in the Park
The Giles County Democratic Party had a booth at the Pearisburg Festival in the Park June 20, 2009. We collected items for the local homeless shelter, foster care program, and the food bank.
