Mark Herring, candidate for Virginia attorney general, spoke at the Acres of Democrats rally over Labor Day weekend. He talked about the unity of the Democratic Party ticket on issues ranging from transportation, education, and creating jobs to make a strong Virginia. He urged all to work on campaigns to support the candidates.
James Harder, candidate for the House of Delegates 12th District which covers
Giles County, talked about his family history, coming from four generations of New
River Valley farmers. Mr. Harder laid out his plans to support education,
farming, and job creation in order to strengthen the local economy and families
in the region.
Giles County Democrats raised funds to purchase 8 of the large 3-candidate signs shown in the photo. Already one is on Hwy. 100 and others will be showing up soon along the major highways. If you would like to contribute, look on the donate section to the right for instructions.
